Looking back at CSR Day 2025

We rolled up our sleeves at the following organizations:

• Scouting Roosevelt Eindhoven: Scouting Pres. F.D. Roosevelt is there for children and young people with physical disabilities. They can really use our help to tackle tasks together that would otherwise be left undone. This includes creating a walkway, improving accessibility to the campfire area, and plenty of garden maintenance.

• De Nieuwenhof Deurne: We want to give the elderly residents staying here a wonderful day. In the morning, we will walk to the park in Deurne. The residents, many of whom use wheelchairs, will absolutely love it! In the afternoon, we are organizing a "Deurne market" at De Nieuwenhof, featuring Dutch and Brabant delicacies, fun games, and above all, lots of coziness for the residents.

• Speeltuin Helmond West: Speeltuin Helmond-West is a large playground for children up to 12 years old. We are eager to get to work here during our CSR day. Activities include building a roof over the water play area, painting benches and playground equipment, and cleaning solar panels. There is also plenty of pruning to be done. Plenty of work to look forward to!

• Stichting TIM Schijndel: A special place for children with intellectual disabilities and sensory processing disorders. Caring for these children is the number one priority, which has led to some overdue maintenance on the grounds. Here, we will ensure that their garden and decking look beautiful and well-kept again, build picnic benches, and paint birdhouses together with the children.

• Sterrebos Roosendaal: Sterrebos is one of the care neighborhoods of healthcare institution S&L Zorg. Approximately 130 people with intellectual disabilities live here. We are going to put them in the spotlight with sports and game activities. We will also perform garden maintenance, spruce up playground equipment, and create parking spaces for bicycles.

• Savant de Ameide Helmond: Around 300 elderly people live in the Ameide flat in Helmond, with or without care assistance. During our CSR day, we are going to give them some extra special attention. In the morning, this includes a rollator/wheelchair carwash, treats, and stalls for nail polishing and playing (card) games with the residents. In the afternoon, we will walk with a smaller group to Kasteel Helmond for a cup of coffee and a guided tour.

• LoveStock Helmond: LoveStock is a warm, safe place for people facing mental health challenges such as depression, PTSD, or other mental worries. No treatment, no diagnoses. Instead, they offer a pleasant way to spend the day filled with humanity, creativity, and sustainability. During the CSR day, we will be working on a new workshop, gardening in the vegetable patch, cooking, and unleashing our creativity by pimiping old furniture.

• Damiaancentrum Sint-Oedenrode: The Damiaancentrum organizes many activities to bring seniors and others together. How wonderful would it be if they could soon do this on a cozy terrace? Think of drinking coffee in the sun or painting outdoors. In the afternoon, we are organizing a games afternoon for elderly people who enjoy being around others.

• Cateringteam: In our kitchen in Helmond, the kitchen brigade will get to work preparing a fresh, tasty lunch for our colleagues at the eight project locations. In the afternoon, festive snacks will be prepared for the joint closing event with all colleagues.
