Ronald McDonald House Southeast Brabant: Continuing to build our partnership
Since 2019, Reynaers Aluminium and Roval Aluminium have been sponsors of the Ronald McDonald House Southeast Brabant through the Club of 52. Last week, our director signed the contract to continue supporting this wonderful cause for another three years. We do this as a joint effort between three companies — and we’re very proud of that!
What is the Ronald McDonald House Southeast Brabant?
Not yet familiar with the Ronald McDonald House in Veldhoven? At the Ronald McDonald House Southeast Brabant, parents and siblings of children admitted to the nearby Máxima Medical Center can stay close to their sick child. It allows families to be together during difficult times, and gives children a chance to feel a little less ill. The house in Veldhoven has eight rooms where families can stay for an extended period. There is also a Ronald McDonald Living Room: a warm, homely space inside the Máxima Medical Center, where families can relax, play, enjoy a coffee, or receive visitors between treatments.
Our director Edgar van Ginkel says about the sponsorship: “The international Reynaers Group, of which Roval Aluminium is a part, was founded by the Reynaers family and is still a true family business. That’s why we want to support the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. As a construction industry supplier, we’re proud to help build the future of others — of children and their parents. We are proud to be part of the Club of 52.”
ROLLING UP OUR SLEEVES
Back in 2019, during the CSR day, we contributed to this great project in Veldhoven. With a team of colleagues, we installed a new playground structure and a family swing, among other things. It's nice to see that these installations are still standing in the shared garden!
